I'll be leaving about 9 am sunday morning,so requests must be made by then.
the ad says over 500 pieces
the items for auction description is very vague
if you've been looking for something special that might fall into the categories listed below, let me know and I'll keep my eyes open for you and pick it up if it's a good price. You need to let me know the price your willing to spend.
majority is Ertl and 1/18th scale
american muscle
nascar
classic automobiles
advertising and vintage cars
coca-cola advertising trucks and trailers
spec cast limited edition
some 1/64th scale
Naturally I'm hoping to find some oldsmobile items there

Terry...the only olds in the whole place was the 1/43rd ertl 3 car box set of the 70's muscle cars, with the 70 gold 442 convert I just got from you...they had about 10 sets of those went for about $8 apiece.
Gerald...they only had 3 cudas in the house and all were singles,no doubles,1970 orange, yellow, plum crazy went for between $22 and $28 apiece.Didn't think these went cheap so stay out of it,sorry.
It turned out to be a reseller liquidation, about 3/4th of the items came in batches of 2 to 6,and the remaining were single pieces.
They would auction off 1 lot of the same item at a time and highest bid would get choice of 1 or all the doubles duplicating the price. If the high bid just took 1 piece the rest were sold to other bidders at the same price.
You can tell the people that were planning on reselling, they would scarf up all the doubles of the cheap price stuff.
alot of nascar 1/18 went between $4 - $11,with a few pieces bringing 20-25 and a couple just under 40.
alot of ertl american muscle 1/18(alot of camaros, chevelle,el caminos),pick ups and a few classics went between $9- $25 a piece.
lots and lots of 1/32 cheap advertising type trucks,some 1/64th went between $4 - $18 a piece.
stay tuned for pics of what I brought home with me.
thanks for looking

on that coca cola truck they also had an all yellow and red version that went for $38, a red budweiser version that went for $45...I wanted both of these over the version I brought home but told myself at the begining I would only go as high as $25 apiece.
so I hope you enjoyed hearing about my day at the auction and viewing my bring home wins.
thanks for looking
Looks like you had a fun day. LOVE the Auburn!
