Hello all. I have not been posting too much on the boards but it is soon that time of the year again. The 2009 Keystone Diecast CARnival will be upon us in no time! If you attended last year you know what a blast it was and this year should be that much better!
If you have never seen how a tampo gets applied to a diecast car, the company that used to do all of Matchbox's pre production samples will be at the CARnival with a pad press printing out cars as you watch!
Another thing you won't want to miss this year is the CHASE RACE! This will be a head to head gravity race that only chase cars (like White Lightnings, Green Machines, etc) will be allowed to enter and not only that, the car must be removed from it's original package when it is called to the starting gate for its first race! The prize for this awesome event is building up to be a doozy! There is a "Bud Box" traveling from New England to Hawaii and back to PA. Inside there is almost 15 pounds of diecast! It will not be known what exactly is in the box until it lands at the CARnival! Winner gets all!
There are a lot of other fun events shaping up as well as the above mentioned such as the original BANGER RACES where 4 cars lineup on one single track and battle their way to the finish line! This event will be sposored by MILEZONE'S TOYS! Another addition to the CARnival is the Saturday Family Style Dinner in the evening. $15.00 will get you pretty much all you can eat plus an exclusive tampo'd car!
