I have a MX3FHSS 2.4. I have installed 3 reciever in 3 different vehicles.
The 1st) an Associated 18B (this was the reciever that came with the transmitter) - works fine.
2nd) in an Associated T4 with a Novak GTB Brushless ESC.
3rd) in a Traxxas Slash with the stock ESC.
Trucks 2 and 3 will often have a run away throttle when I turn them on. This is following the correct proceedure of turning on the transmitter first. Usually when the throttle kicks on like this, I can brake and it stops and all is fine after that until power is turned off and then back on in the truck. However the Slash tends to continue to run away at almost full throttle for a few minutes.
I have reprogrammed both ESCs (the Novak and the stock Slash ESC) a couple times each to try and fix it. However it continues to happen. Also both #2 and #3 recievers were purchased new, and from different suppliers (reducing the odds of bad recievers).
Anyone able to help?
