WHOA! Yeah! Now, that's what I'm talking about! I love DP's too! These are sweat! Is that a custom body or does someone pull those and sell them? I'm sure they don't come painted like that. What chassis do they fit? I wouldn't mind getting my hands on one as I'm a big DP racing guy too.

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the shout out Wendell! Those bodies are HOST Bodies, available from Bob Dame. He's got some great other bodies too. I'm starting to do custom lexan painting, so if you are interested just let me know.

Here is another Daytona Prototype from HOST. I (badly) tried to make my own custom decals for the Target cars. I'm glad to see now that Patto makes several DP decals! Here it is:

This is one case where the slot cars look way cooler than the 1:1 scale cars. Keep up the great work, BDD!

Thanks for the info! I did a search online for these HOST Bodies from Bob Dame, but only came up with some Yahoo groups talking about them and a track that races them - no web site or where to go to see, select and order them. Could you share that with us?

As for the painting you do, do you have a website with what you can do and the costs? I might be interested, but need to know what everything is going to costs.

Thanks again for the help and sharing!

Thanks again guys. I appreciate the compliments. As for Bob, his website is WWW.HORACINGBODIES.COM. I hope I didn't violate anything by posting his website address. As for the bodies I paint, I charge $20 for a body, which is detailed as best as I can. All you need to do once you get it is cut, trim, and mount. I don't do the mounting holes as most guys are pretty particular about that kind of thing. I will do my best to make it look as real as possible, and I always include decals, etc. I'm a modeler at heart. I don't have a website up yet, but PM me if interested.

I don't think you violated any rules by helping out others. ;-) Thanks for link to Bob's site. He has some cool lexans for sure and of course I found the DP body! SWEET! At those prices, I might be able to get one ordered sooner than I thought!

Thanks again for the info on the bodies and on your paint jobs! I'll have to see where my cash is for getting a nice paint job like the ones you do. At the price of the bodies I may try one on my own and send you one! I'll let you know.

Thanks again!
