whats a good starting point for ride height for a flat 50 foot straights oval track.no banks...1/12 4-cell 19turn..also rear slightly higher than front,,thanks in advance guys

In my years of running 12th scale, the ride hieght did not matter a whole lot-as long as you did not rub the carpet! With the new wheels that are out and lower pod plates, 1/8th of an inch is sufficient.

most tracks have a min. height of .187 (3/16) If you need the car to turn more raise the rear and recheck the front to maintain min. allowed ride height

Mike, I think you are thinking of 1/10th.
1/10th is usually 3/16" (.1875").
Whereas 1/12th is 1/8" (.125")
