Is this a real drag car from the 60's or just a fantasy car that M2 made up??

Where can I see a pic of the M2? I don't recall any special Olds constructed for the ad campain back then.

HEY!!!!....it's STUTZ!!! Finally get to put a face one the name!

Thanks for that pic, such a cool looking car with a great stance. Looks like a '68 and the M2 one is a different body style...oh well. Still cool that they honored it.
I wonder if there really was a Dr. Olds car of that year of the M2 car.

Thanks for the info. Did M2 make one in the actual color of the real car??

I've only seen the regular version (red) 1 of 600 cars for the 2009 Diecast Super Convention, and the BLACK & GOLD 1 of 30 versions.

The real car looks like it is a light color in the B&W pic.

So that's what you look like Ray. It's a lot cheaper to see you here than for me to go there. LOL
THANKS for the pics.

I suppose you didn't have a chance to sneek me out one of those black and gold Olds?

I almost broke the camera Terry.:drunk:

One of the BLACK & GOLD Olds was donated by M2 for the charity auction. If I knew you were interested in it I would have bid on it. It sold for less than the predicted price.

Here's the red version of the Olds (1 of 600).

:( Man, I'd be all over one of those if they were done in realistic colors and tampos.
