I recently bought a mini Lm from losi and i've only ran it once. I was pleased but would like some info on how to make it better. Any information on good longer lasting batteries and faster motor with compatible esc. I'm not looking to make it super fast, but something respectable. I'm new to electric r/c so all help would be greatly appreciated. My friends and I are going to try and set up a small dirt oval track just for fun this summer. Any tips or ideas for the track would also be appreciated. Thanks to all.

you may want to look in to a brussless mamba system 4200 or 5400 then if you want to go faster then you can up grade to a bigger motor ! I would say lipos are the way to go 2c 7.4v 21oo lipos last about 30 min plus have good power!hope this helps!!!

If you plan on making the MLM faster definitelty put in either a losi or MIP ball diff. The stock is just barely ( in my experience) strong enough for stock running. Mine blew out the second day of racing, then again I was in a heated battle for position.

Other items you can get to improve the MLM are an Integy steering drag link and the BRP slider chassis brace. I changed the shocks on mine from the stock losi to Associated 18T stock plastic shocks. They don't show the leak trouble the stock losi shocks do.
