I know several people who are always asking questions about the functions on the different ESC's. So how about a place where those could be asked, in kind of a generic fashion (instead of buried in each MFG's support thread)

I'll throw a couple out there...that I've been asked lately.

1) I know the LRP Comp TC has many settings ( 1 - 8 ) I believe. I also believe that each of these makes the motor more aggressive (and adds timing). Is this correct? If it is, is there anyway to know how much it's increase?

2) The NOVAK GTB's have no adjustable timing features that I know of, am I missing something? Is there a way to increase the timing in a GTB Speed Control?

3) Has anyone tried the LOSI ESC for Oval Racing?

4) I read about time shifting capabilities in some speed controls, that let you setup your ESC to increase timing at a specific time during a run. Who's ESC's have this type of function?

....I've been asked more, but those are just a few...

Seen it done by a local racer who's picture is currently on a milk carton. It ran (on the dyno) about the same as a Novak, maybe just a shade higher on RPM. (this is with the Losi speed control's timing all the way up).

Looks a lot like a Novak in a blue case to me...
