These three I just found stand out as my favorites in the brush painted catagory.
Repainted and aged to perfection with a way awesome military theme the #54 Caddy-lac Ambulance is the crown jewel of the the bunch shows a patina to die for.
Anyone got any to share? Or maybe you all think I'm a wEiRdO...ok, I'm a weirdo either way. :)

**HONK **

I love any painted MB that was given new life.
Here's a #34 Moko that I've had in the display case for about 20 years. A little overspray though.

My favourite brush painted Lesney has to be the Mack Dumper which received this paintjob when I was 10.This dark red came from the very first tin of paint (Humbrol) that I ever bought, and the silver was the 2nd pot!
I used this for a couple of years along with a packet of red candles which I melted and moulded, eventually into a wax shape as close as I could get to this dumper. It took a load of cleaning to remove all the wax before painting this ,as I didnt have access to paintstripper at that age... too dangerous! The Grit Spreader next to it was in the same colours but I later tried to get it back to its original paint and gave up leaving it as it is today, with plenty of silver still stuck to the yellow. Both the Grit Spreader and Mack Dumper were wrapped up in the same christmas gift xmas ´68 or ´69 along with a 47 DAF and 7 Refuse Truck
The gold Lotus was done when I was 8 - using gold foil peeled off backing paper from my mother´s cigarette packets. The others in this shot were done when I was 11 or 12 - the Landie had been stomped flat in the school playground, and I collected these bits and glued it together as a bomb blasted army unit. The 47 Ice Cream truck looked ok as a panel van I think!
I switched to spray when I was 14, and these are the last of my brush painted jobs - the Cresta was for me an absolute gem being the first one I had seen aged 12 or so.....

I also painted a load of Dinkys and Corgis ,most of which were resprayed when I was 14-16, however these two werent!

Here's an ambulance I made into a hearse when I was 12. This one is spray painted with the emergency lights shaved and filled, landau bars painted on the sides. I even put a divider window inbetween the drivers area and the rear compartment!
I like how it has aged over the years.

This one was brush painted by another unknow artist many years ago.
