Jim - Great models. Thanks for displaying.

Those were, when new, exotics of the very finest available. I was lucky to get a few Zauggs back in the '80s and one Japanese Rubicon.

FYI - the company you identified as "AMC" is actually "AMR". AMR stands for the name of the founder - the now deceased Andre Marie Ruf. This company was one of the first to use photo etching for detail work. AMR produced mostly European cars but did make a lot of Cadillacs too. And "Verona" is not the model company - that identifies a city in Italy that produced the Dallari models.

Thanks for the updates. As I sort I am trying to identify the models before storing them. I did see the word RUF on the base.

Thanks again,

Jim G

Jim

You have hit the 'pot of gold' here! Those Japanese white metal models from Newcon, Cam and Rubicon are rare birds. In all my years of collecting I have only ever seen two listed and I was lucky enought to get one!

In the mid 1980's these models were priced in the UK at £120 each!

Thanks for showing.

Cheers Chris
