I don't know anyone running oval that uses a JR servo anymore. You might Have to go to a on-road thread to get that answer.......sorry can't help.......I have ran the JR7005 which is a good servo.

Reverse 7005 Servo
Specs
Torque: 62.6 oz/in
Speed: .16 sec/60 Degrees
Dimensions: 0.88 x 1.73 x 0.93in
Weight: 1.31 oz
Bearing: Dual
Motor Type: Coreless
Application: Aileron servo for sport/competition aerobatic plan

In todays servos speed and Torque are about the same in all size servos.....So if you have the room and weight isn't a factor then it really doesn't matter......You need to stay with the mini or thin mid servos to be able to place the servo in a oval car correctly. If the servo is to thick you can't get the servo low enough in the mount.......

I run JR servos for oval. Sean Cochran, Eli Ezrow, Gary Hamilton and several other top drivers do as well.

JRP DS9411 works great in a pan car.

why not run an airtronics servo in your ride if your using an airtronics radio? looks like they have some good servos that are similar to both JR and Futaba servos

Along those [airtronics] lines, has anyone run the Airtronics 94145 mini servo in a 1/10th oval car? It was pretty popular in 1/12th when still being made but its only got around 30 oz-in of torque. Is that enough for a 1/10th oval car?

Sean Cochran recommende the JR 3421 to me nearly 2 years ago and been running it since. Fast, light, durable, and most important dependable. No end play in this servo either.

Any one?

What is the minimum torque rating you would use for a 1/10th pan car?

I have been running JR servos in all my cars 1/8, sprint car, pan car.
This is the one i run in my pan car. nice and small plenty of speed and torque.
The best thing about JR is if you have a problem send it to Horizon and unless it is abused they send you a new one.

I would say 30 oz/in would work.

Almost everyone at our track runs the JR4321 for our 1/10 mod sprinters. I have a pan car with one in it too. Futabab 9650 is a great servo too. I think the JR3421 is a little better servo due to that it has metal gears and doesn't get sloppy end play after a year. Both will work well and don't get into the numbers to loose sleep over them.

exactly. dont people even turn the servo down after its installed from the radio?
