Walt's Hobby Inc. will be having* our Annual Northeast Carpet Oval Classic on Saturday, March 21, 2009.

1.* 1/10 DD Stock/17.5 Brushless
2.* 1/12 DD Stock/17.5 Brushless
3.* 1/10 SK Spec Mod
4.* 1/10 Spec Legends
5.* 1/18 Losi Slider Sprint Car
6.* 1/18 Losi Late Model

Format:

2 rounds of qualifying, followed by Mains with Bump ups.* All heats are 4 minutes.* Mains are 100 Laps for 1/10 + 1/12 classes, 75 Laps for 1/18 classes.* Doors open at 9:00 am. with racing starting at 11:00 am.* Weekly race rules apply!

Entry fee

is $20.00 for first class, and $ 15.00 for each additional class.* Gift cards will be handed out for awards.

Todd is this going to be round cell racing ? and 100 laps ? no clock ?

Yes it will be round cell racing! 4-cell NIMH. And yes it will be who ever gets to 100 laps the fastest no clock for the mains.

I'm planning on being there running both 10th and 12th DD classes. Anyone else?

Sorry casper, no LiPo for me until next season. Just can't justify it yet with only getting to a handful of races a year. If only there was a track closer to Philly...

I don't blame you... but it's sooo much cheaper than NiMh... it's just that initial pop to make the change. Luckily I was able to sell the old stuff off before it became completely worthless.
