What do u all hear about the Savage Flux truck ?

It is Powered by Castle Creations Mamba Monster 2200 combo. It is rebadged for HPI as the Flux.
the truck should be bullet proof.

turn out this FLUX truck and HPI are JUNK , 28 days now waitin on a part from them , a 102246 ring and pinion set . I ran this JUNK truck for 5 minutes and blew the rear pinion , HPI flat out refused to warranty the whole truck , told me they had the 102246 on B/O and i would have to wait . I recommened dont buy HPI , there customer servicer is no good

Wow, that doesn't sound very reasonable. Never really considered HPI because I didn't know anyone that ran them. Now I do. Our toys are way too expensive not to get great service on.

Are the diffs different than the nitro Savage?

I have had my Savage since they came out with it when it was the Savage 21. I have never had any diff probs. I'd have to say that either there isa defective run or they are different than the nitro. Seems kinda lame to warranty a whole truck just for the diffs, they really are pretty easy to change.
