why is it that the police cars are so much fun to collect? Is it because they are so few and far between lately?

Wow, Brazos county (on the first picture's cars) is actually like 10 miles from where I live. Ironic.

Why can't MBX just put the headlight and taillight tampos on their cop cars?? DUH!!!

Because Mattel has Matchbox on a budget per car that is tighter than HW. Mattel allows the cost of only 2 tampo strikes per car on the regular line, that is why the superfast/best of versions are more expensive.

I'm sure I asked once before but how or where did the Texas DPS car come from?

How did you do the detail work on the Cobb police car? And is the black charger custom?

The Texas version is a custom. The Cobb is limited car produced by Color Comp for the MCCH Matchbox community website. The Black and the Silver Cobb Georgia cars were Superfast releases from 05-06 years.

America has a seemingly endless supply of law enforcement vehicles with 1000's of different city, county and state police and sheriff departments.

I never get tired of viewing your pics sschevyman1 especially the cop ones.
