Remember that iconic pose of Iron Man punching the ground for the movie? The one we all wanted the kit to be? But all Marvel would approve was a static standing pose? Seems another licensee got permission to do the kneeling pose:

Yeah, seems the "House of Ideas" has very few of them when it comes
to licensing their creations. :woohoo:

Yeah, but one of the others is exactly the same thing as the Moebius kit. I'll bet Marvel had a set group of poses that they assigned arbitrarily to licensees.

One problem is, this isn't the same scale. The ground punching idea had been used too many times according to Marvel in similarly sized pieces, and they thought it would dilute the market with the same pose. They didn't hand out poses, but they might as well have. Our license was approved late as we had some difficulty with their legal department, so we were stuck with what was left. And of course, Japanese product is licensed differently, and by a different group than Marvel in the US.

Ah but if any figure kit lent itself to being cut up and reposed, this be it!
