While surfing another board a few months ago, I mentioned I had never purchased a 1:64 Biante model. Though they make amazing models, the price is pretty substantial here in the states. This guy says the next time he is on Holiday, he'll pick me something up, what would I like? Of course, that was the last time I thought about it....until a few days ago!

Jmwalkeruk is a member of Greenlight's "Under The Hood" club, and at the time so was I (did not renew my membership). A native of England, Joe had traveled to New Zealand for vacation where he must have remembered our brief exchange, because look at what arrived on my door step out of the blue!

This is a 1:64 Biante diecast of a 1972 Ford Falcon GTHO. Driven by Fred Gibson on October 1st where he qualified 4th but crashed out after 22 laps in the 1972 Hardie-Ferodo 500. This is the shorter duration race held for touring cars at the famed Bathurst course in Australia each year.

What a diecast, my photos truly do not do this piece justice. Thank you so much Joe, I wish I was still a member over at the UTH club so I could thank you publicly. If anyone is a member over there, post this for me!

Enjoy this sweet car...

That is a nice car. I have some race versions of the XC cars but none of the XY's.

I get a lot of Biantes and Road Rangers from a friend down under. The cars are very nice but seem to be real expensive even down there.
