Any recommendations or is it merely a drivers preference?
Thanks

I have ran both, and the main thing is keeping them clean. I think the foam flows better but you have to clean it more than the K&N filter.
Just my 2 cents worth.

I Perfer the K & N filter over foam. K & N is easy to maintain, has great air flow and combined with the oil you spray on, has good filtration of the dirt.
Draw back is a little more $ to start.

Just my 1 cent worth:)

Go by a motorcycle shop and get a universal air filter for a 52mm carb. They can run from 12 to 15 bucks. No need in buying that expensive K&N

If I buy the cheaper one, I don't get a K & N decal.... LOL

Get one the easy way, find a friend going to the NHRA races and have them bring you back a bag of stickers from all the vendors. I got a bunch of VP, Summit and others that way.
