Had this $15 MEV Nash* Airflyte kit I got at the last HO-LI Superbowl Sunday show. Spent the evening dremeling it down to lower it & accidentally dremeled throught the hood a bit. Damn ! I wanted to do it in its original '50's green color ! Any how I mixed up some JB weld, patched it on & decided that tomorrow was another day.
Next day I sanded it down & decided to spray it with Testor's Blue angel blue-great '50's color ! I also realized I could lower it & have the wheels turn freely if I remove the hubs, grind them down a bit & remount on the Aurora T-jet 500 powertrain. I was actually tempted to decal it but decided otherwise.

* Nash & Hudson merged in '54 to become American Motor's (Nash, Rambler & Hudson). Nash & Hudson were dropped after the '57 model year.

Nice ride Neal, and I love the stance. Looks just right with the wheels tucked all the way in like they should be!

Classic Nash with a classic blue paint job. This gives me a great vision of what it must have been like to drive around back in the 50s in a real 1/1 Nash. They don't make them like that anymore.

Bob...:dude: bet it's fun to drive...zilla

Nice save Neal!! When I hear Nash I automatically think of my sister's "upside bathtub on wheels" metropolitan.. I guess they all kinda looked like that.. Blue angel blue is a perfect color for it, and should look right at home getting in the way of the hotrods!!

 I am still using my medieval single speed dremel that my Dad got me in 1970. When I kick it Old School, I do it all the way !:)

Still crazy after all these years !
