Buzz-a-rama is the track i used to go to when i lived in brooklyn 75-78.(magnatraction,g-plus days) i had to take the subway one hour each way with my car box. i was a 24 y.o. teacher, rock musician and slot nut. i can't believe its still there.heres some pix i found on the web. doesn't show their HO track. they just had the buzz-a-rama 500!! maybe i'll go next time i'm in the big apple. mj

That would be great to return to your roots. Looks like they have a pretty nice landscaped 1/32 track along with a huge 1/24 track.

yes i remember. and brooklyn was super cheap then. me and two buddies had a great place. i think i took the D or maybe the R to the F train cause i lived in flatbush near the academy of music and pratt U. i brought a book for the long ride. they had a nice orange (i think) aurora tubbie that was fun.
i had a 10'x5' track at home as well. all kinds of folks young and old enjoying racing little cars. mj
Buzzie and his son (Buzz Jr. haha) come to the Midwest & Richfield slot car shows from time to time and ALWAYS have the goods.......not cheap mind you, but dead mint new 40+ year old slot goodies!

Maybe they will have a slot show there one day. I never been to the Buzz O rama. But I have dumpster dived in Hempstead!!

Maybe I'm hallucinating, but the picture of the 1/24th scale track from meetup.com looks to be from the now defunct Speedshop in Auburn WA.
