A little-known brand here in the states for die-cast, Konami is mostly known for their video games. Thanks again Dave for sending me this one, it's a a valuble addition to my collection for sure! I love this foreign stuff.

As you can see, good amount of detail all around. The interior wasn't forgotten either:

Not the most detailed 1/64 you can buy, but I'd say it surpasses the regular JL line and just about anything you can get at Wal-Mart. Correct wheels are pretty rare in 1/64, yet Konami has nailed these. It's also got a working suspension, another too-oft forgot element for the American die-cast companies. According to the box, these were about 450 yen back in '05, which turns out to be a little less than $5; not a bad value I'd say!
