View Full Version : Does M2 Have Chase Cars?
scrambler81 02-21-2009, 09:19 AM I just bought my first M2's today. I've wanted to for a while, but due to space and cash limitations, I've been waiting for the right car. Today I found the two 1970 Mach 1s, so I snatched them up. However, while standing there I also found a 1969 Daytona. The back of the package says it is available in yellow and green, but mine is chrome. Does that mean anything?
GeraldE61 02-21-2009, 10:02 AM Chrome is a chase car, there are also ones that are Black with Gold chrome
roadwarrior 02-21-2009, 10:05 AM Per Sean at M2 " The chrome cars are called Limited Editions, they are less than 400 produced in each release. Only ONE car is chosen per release to be a Limited Editions.
Staring in release 3 we now have the chase car or wild goose car. One car is chosen per release and is painted black with gold trim and grill/bumpers. They are produced around 1600 - 1800 pieces."
Congrats on the find Scrambler:thumbsup:
scrambler81 02-21-2009, 10:10 AM Thanks. Of course, I just screwed it up. I was opening the two Mustangs, and somehow I grabbed the Charger by mistake and cut through the blister before I realized it. Out of all the cars I have, I had to mess up that one. I could just scream. :( I'll have to find a nice place to display it in one of my big cases.
GeraldE61 02-21-2009, 10:23 AM You can send it to me to display...
I think the chrome are rarer then the Black/Gold ones are.

I bought them in WalMart Saturday morning. They were all there, looked like they had just put them up, because the Daytona was right on the front of the peg.
STUTZ 02-25-2009, 07:51 PM Here's a pic of the lowest production chase car made by M2 so far (1 of 30).

mehocker1 03-12-2009, 09:31 AM I found two of the black and gold roadrunnners at TRU yesterday. Kept 1 and gave 1 to another collector that was there.
Cottonmouth 03-14-2009, 11:25 PM Man, first off I did not know that M2 has a '70 Boss 302 Mustang out until today. My buddy calls us at dinnertime to tell me about one that he picked up at the flea market. On top of that, it is the black and gold chase one to boot!
I'm not much of a chase car chaser, but M2 has the coolest chase cars around. The black and gold is just a nice combo.
roachmobkiller 03-18-2009, 05:40 PM My M2 Bel Air find today!
