View Full Version : 2009 Morl 1/8 Buggy and Truggy forum
jasburrito 02-21-2009, 01:40 AM Think they,ll be enough at each event? YES NO
Sounds like 1/8,s not really included unless theres six per class bug/trug for 4 of 5 or 5 of 6 races to score points. Seems there were many 1/8,s last year. Kinda strange they were not added? Many new models added, and coming(losi,AE,caster, lrp, jammin, ect.
Me and my buds are looking for a series to race in with truggys and buggys
For buggy I,m thinking
John o
Marty
E?
Andy?
Heffa?
Apple?
Hank?
me
Truggy
Marty
me
John might build 1
Whatever
Uncle E 02-22-2009, 02:44 PM Flipse also. Heffae and I are slim on making an entire series. Is the scedule out yet. I dont see having 6 being a problem. I've got an additional 8 to build yet, so that is one more we can run.
420 Tech R/C 02-22-2009, 03:28 PM I really dont think that you E1/8 guys will have an issue getting 6 for the series .I know a few guys that run @ Washtenaw are planning on making a few of the races this year,Plus I know Rusty W is panning on running E1/8 this year.I really think with all the guys on the fence about setting one up i can see you guys getting a couple heats of them by the end of the season.
badassrevo 02-22-2009, 03:36 PM I ran State Line FTR last year and plan to hit at least one this year. It is a long drive like 5hrs but it was fun.
HEFFAE 02-23-2009, 12:14 AM Jabro - Add Bob T/felski & Champ'r to the list, both 1/8's are in production to start here shortly.
E's correct, I know we'll make a few, maybe all if the schedule works out.
Uncle E 02-23-2009, 01:12 PM You got the schedule, are you planning on all of them, or what? The sooner you/we know which ones are a go, the sooner I can negotiate with the wifey. I'd like to make enough to have the points count, be nice to win some bling.
How many races do we have to make to have it count? Shoot if anyone has an extra 1/8th scale just bring it along and let someone run it. How fun would it be to run someone else car and beat em' with it!
whatever

No Problem having enough guys if your willing to share your ride if your not available that weekend. Its one way to ensure the class counts. I don't even think that will be needed, since so many guys want to run these.
whatever
hhhhhhh

4 races have to be run. As it is I doubt I'll drive over to PRun but should make the rest.
Tdevil 02-23-2009, 02:29 PM Yes, discussion at the meeting yesterday was that if a minimum of 6 vehicles of any class show up for 4 out of the 5 races, they will be included in points and trophies.
This would apply to Mod Slash (brushless) and to Super Stock (truck or buggy) as well.
I am sure someone from the MORL board will correct me if I am wrong.
Apl Hed 02-25-2009, 08:55 PM Count me in for all 5 races in 1/8th E. Like last year.
We only had 1 race with 8 cars last year, this year will be different im sure.
