View Full Version : Lifelike 2008 Lineup
Grandcheapskate 02-20-2009, 06:44 PM Now that 2008 is over, let's see if we can recap the cars produced by Lifelike during 2008.
Unlike 2006 and 2007, I don't think the 2008 Lifelike lineup is difficult to determine. There did not seem to be the number of variations found only in sets.
Here's what I see as the complete list:
Singles:
9605 Impala #24 - Dupont
9605 Impala #48 - Lowe's
9606 Impala #5 - Tony the Tiger
9607 Camry #18 - M&Ms
9608 Camry #20 - Home Depot
9609 Camry #11 - Fed Ex
9622 Charger #08 - Dodge Motorsports
Twinpacks:
9611 Best Buy #19 / Kasey Kahne #9
9612 Office Depot #99 / DeWalt #17
9621 Ford Fusion #08 / Monte Carlo #08
9628 Amp #88 / National Guard #88
Set Only Cars:
9588 Ford F-350 #16
9588 Chevy Silverado #8
9595 Demolition Derby #7
9595 Demolition Derby #10
Now, somebody ruin my weekend and tell me there's more.
Thanks...Joe
many slots 02-22-2009, 03:29 PM Don't forget about the Snap On GloMad set with the Nomads.
The Corvette set 9593 has some minor differences on the cars.
The red Corvette has orangish tail lights now.
The silver Corvette hav regular silver paint, not metallic.

I guess somebody had to burst my bubble.
Are the Corvettes variations of the singles #9765 and #9766? Those two singles are fairly old, probably issued in the early 2000s.
I also knew about the Snap-On Nomads. I believe those can be bought directly from Snap-On, but if a previous poster (in another thread) is correct, Snap-On wants $110 for the set (which is only a figure 8). I can tell you I confirmed that the Nomads are only available in that set. There was no overrun of those cars, so you will not find them in a boxed twinpack down the road.

it is a little high for the set around $86, I got mine through a driver but I dont remember what I paid for them, I know it wasnt $86. The driver didnt even have them on the truck because he didnt think any one would buy them. The cars do look nice a little different but nice.

Did a little snooping while on feePay this morning.
Grandcheapskate 03-16-2009, 05:19 PM Doba,
Thanks for the pics. All those cars mentioned and pictured above are from either 2006 or 2007. Those two years were the toughest yet for figuring out what Lifelike put out. Year 2008 was not so bad and except for the Corvettes (maybe) and the Snap-On set, I think my initial list is complete.
Thanks...Joe
