I just kinda started back keeping up with die cast after a few years away. I've never really make a big deal out of chase cars for my collection. I've only ever found one TH at retail and traded it for muscle cars.
So I walked into a Walmart today at lunch wasting a little time and see this beautiful black and gold Road Runner by M2 at the back of a peg behind some other really nice-looking Super Bees. Since I collect black and gold cars, which I put the athletic logo stickers from my alma mater (Southern Miss) on the card, I bought it. Not being very familiar with the company, I look into M2 and see that it is a chase car! Needless to say, I still can't believe it because the HW's were pretty much cleaned out (a couple of Larry's Garage still there but not much else). So either somebody missed it, didn't know what it was (like me), or it just got put out. Either way, I'm glad I bought it!
