Here are some of the latest lexans from the paintwerks. I had a little problem with my airbrush, and I finally had some time to spare this past week so I worked on it and started painting. The next thing I knew, I had painted ten bodies! Most of them I haven't detailed yet, so they are kind of rough but you get the picture. I'll start selling some of these pretty soon, I'll let you know the details once I get that all worked out. Anyways, submitted for your approval:

I've never really liked lexan bodies but I have to say that those are VERY well done.

Thanks guys! I try to do "interpretations" of real cars as much as possible. I try to capture the "essence" of the real car, and I take some pride in trying to have them look right. Besides, $2 for a body, $1 worth of paint, a beer or two, and some time is a helluva lot cheaper than therapy!

Very nice. I have a few and am not quite sure how to ruin them.

It's amazing what a little cleanup and detailing can do to liven up a body:

A fact that seems lost on my TM at times. She just sees it as some guy playing with little cars.

Maybe one day she'll understand the theraputic value of a couple of hours in the Cave, painting on some piece of plastic while having a brew or two.:thumbsup: rr
