For those guys who found the Team Orion 3200 LIPO to your liking, their NEW 3400 pack puts out the same power and long life...and will give you many months of satisfaction for your SPEC racing applications.

Our series has made the switch, but we've found the performance to be virtually identical, so the older 3200's won't be obsoleted with this change.

I will tell you what they are making that looks really nice.

They have a hump pack that is the same size as the 5-cell packs we use for receiver packs. You can add that and their regulator and still be lighter than the 5-cell pack.

i still use 3200's.. with good results... :-) i will soon jump.. but im taking lil hop skotch jumps first ;-)

Guys can talk about Battery Life, and/or any other issues w/ LIPO batteries, but we had our first series race of the year at the HIGH PERFORMACE Encino Velodrome last weekend, and about 1/2 - 3/4 of the field was still running the ORION 3200's against the ORION 3400's and the performance was FLAWLESS from both packs. ALL of the 3200's are at least a year old, and many are over 2 years old.

Comparing times to the same classes run in '08, we're FASTER right out of the gate setting NEW track records in ALL (3) Classes.

i am using 2 year old 3200's btw... :) lawnmowers like older batts ;-)

the only problem is that most oval tracks have it capped at 3200 mah i have wanted to talk to boylan about setting it at 3400mah that way it would open it up to the tekin packs and the new orion pack.
