Need to weather the clothes, and give it a dullcoat :)

Lloyd Collins 02-17-2009, 08:51 PM It's GROSS looking! In otherwords, impressive!
deadmanincfan 02-20-2009, 12:45 AM Something diff, the purple around the eyes...very cool, Denis!
Auroranut 02-20-2009, 02:02 AM Denis, how did you get the pallor of the skin? That effect's cool and I wouldn't mind trying it out....
Chris.:)
mcdougall 02-20-2009, 07:54 AM Hi Chris...I primed the head with white then I painted in the blues and purples around the eyes and wrinkles...then a light drybrushing of flat flesh on all the high points...Clear red to detail the sutures...on the close up shot the splotchiness has yet to be blended in...this is still a WIP...I plan to use a pale clear blue wash...(very light) to soften and blend in the colors then dullcoat it all, because as you know, the clear paints are Gloss:)
Cheers
Denis
PS...The darkness around the Forehead and face is Clear Smoke...
Auroranut 02-20-2009, 08:02 AM Cheers Denis, thanks mate. The smoke's really brought out the undead look! Your colours should blend together nicely with the blue! It looks like it's already got a bluish tint to it.
It's gonna be a stunner when it's finished.
