Hey Guys, I know it is still a month away. But we would like to try and get an idea of how many are coming to the race because...

we are going to have a catered in dinner on Saturday night.

Allan's family, Allan runs the skating rink, also have a catering business and they have agreed to bring in food for Saturday Night. Since we get out pretty late on BRL weekend and local food selection is pretty scarce.

From what we talked about yesterday, we are thinking food served from 5:30-7:30 saturday night. Cost will be $10.50 a plate(not set in stone yet)

Menu will consist of Iowa Pork, Potatoes, potatoe/macaroni salad, green or baked beans etc. Hopefully, on the 1st at our next race Randy and Allan will have the menu finalized and the price officially set.


As far as the race itself. They insist on having skating for the Kiddies Friday night...so as it year's past track and pit set-up will be Friday night at 9pm - 11pm (ish) with NO PRACTICE Friday Night. (I know it chaps my butt too) But with the temp track set-up it is best to let it sit over night and warm up.

We would really like to get a pretty good estimate of how many PEOPLE will be there so we have the proper amount of food. So please post if you are planning on coming and how many (wives, GF's, Kids etc) will be with ya! Hopefully by March 1st we can give them a fairly accurate #.
