OK gang, here it is...the official entry thread for the 2009 Hobby Talk Kustom Kontest. To enter this years contest, you must post your photos into this thread. Listed anywhere else on Hobby Talk is fine, but only cars entered into this thread will be eligible for voting.

As you take your photos, remember to think presentation from the start. After all, this contest is determined by popular vote, the best build does not guarantee a winner. It's what the voters like!

Each HT member receives one equal vote. The top three vote counts will occupy First, Second and Third place. Prizes will be awarded at the close of the voting period.

Here is how it works...

1) Every member shall be allowed TWO (2) separate entries.

2) Each entry may contain up to four (4) separate photos

3) The first post photo MUST be of your entry alone and in a neutral background. After that, all backgrounds are acceptable.

4) Anyone my enter (based on the rules as seen in the rules thread) up until the entry thread closes at 10:00 PM EST March 29, 2009. After that , the voting will began.

When you look at Mr. ProTouring you can see what has been taken away as well as what might have been added. One look and you can tell he means business. Removed bumpers, shaved door handles and window trim were removed for less drag.

What lies beneath is usually the first question that is asked when one sees the oversized hood scoop and rather large cold air openings in the lower valance. The only way to find out is to put up your $.

The rear is decked out with a custom spoiler designed to keep this machine on the ground during high speed manuevers.

If you see this Touring machine cruising the canyons, you may want to think twice before picking a fight.

Moms cruiser started out as a basket case. When found, the only thing that resembled a fastback Mustang was the shell. It was obvious this Mustang had been raced. Over time, dad was able to transform the well loved Mustang back to a daily driver.

Fender skirts were removed and the body hammered back into shape and several coats of Imitation Gold were applied. Blacked out wheels and dual exhaust seem to indicate that not all of the "racer" was taken out of her.
