Hey gang, I have been looking at picking up a set of the 12 Nissan road racing cars but I am having trouble doing my research. Russ at Milezone’s is stocking these if you have not seen them before. You can click on the link below.

First, is the cars really 1:64? All I have ever seen from Real-X is 1:72, just to small to interest me, so I really want to know if these bad boys are a new (for Yodel anyway) 1:64 scale.

Also, are the cars real replicas or fantasy paint? I have done some digging and I believe they are fantasy, but I would to know if any of you have looked into this. If they are a real, historic set, I will buy all 12 in the set (get the box set) but if not, I will simply pick out 4 or 5 I like and purchase individually.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all!

Ward

Hey Ward - Thanks for posting that link, I've never seen those before. :)

I have a handful of Real-X cars but they are all 1/72 scale.
I have no clue if these are 1/64 - but I doubt very much Milezones is wrong in their description.

IMO, they are very cool.

Not sure about the fantasy or real livery on them.
Pretty sure Kyosho make the #15 blue on white Skyline.
(as well as a couple of others in the link)

Good luck with your purchase.

Your right Denis, Russ is very on top of details like that, I am just caught off gard as I have never even heard of this brand in this scale. I guess just looking to get a double confermation.

I think all real-x cars come in 1/72 scale.

I have the blue GT-R KPGC110 #73 tampo - this car never officially raced but I do see 1real cars that look the same.

The KPGC10 # 15 was also released by Kyosho several years ago.

Those are real nice anyway.

I think the cars are 1/72 as well. Real-X released the same cars(I believe) in a set called Nissan Racing Cars-Historical Collection which are in the racing teams colors. I hope I am wrong and they are 1/64 because they look awesome.
