HELP Had my e-mail this morning came home from work turned on puter
tried to get into my outlook in was gone. A pop up screen came up wanting me to install it. Any Idea where my old one went and how I can get it back ? :freak: Not Outlook Express just outlook Verizon is my provider and they suck when it comes to help say they don't support Outlook only Express.

1. did you log back into your machine with the same username? sounds like a new profile started up...
2. did it ask to reconfigure outlook?
3. anyone else have access to your machine?

That happened to me also. There was a problem and i called the tech support & the idiot there had me erase my incoming & outgoing information ( POP & Smtp or what ever it was) and after 20 minutes, he said "i am not really familliar with outlook you will have to call someone else" I didn't think to write down the POP or smtp info. and I miss my outlook. any ideas of how i can get it back by inputing the correct POP & smpt or smtp, can't remember what it read.

Try clicking on start, all programs, accessories, system tools, system restore. You can then restore your system settings to a time or date to one before the problem occurred.

Thanks, I will give it a try. it has been about a year and a half since that happened.
