Butters16 02-09-2009, 08:56 PM HHMM sounds interesting running the COT on a big track.
Racin'Jason 8 02-09-2009, 11:02 PM 13.5/1c
...keep the first three (of the asteriked 5), toss the last two.
It would be really cool to see a Platts./RCH Spec showdown.
jeeper 02-10-2009, 10:31 AM I am in for 17.5 1 cell lipo and sk
wkbracing 02-10-2009, 07:55 PM HHMM sounds interesting running the COT on a big track.
will be kind of hard for the cot cars to be two places at once, most of them are committed to race number 3 of the barre series on march 22nd, hope this does not hurt your turnout.
Butters16 02-10-2009, 08:51 PM oh crap that is right.
ovalmaster 02-11-2009, 04:08 PM yeah, after 2 races, I'm comitted to racing Barre's 3rd leg of series.
Antonio
Jason...why always going slow in oval?? 13.5 4 cells will be good....i wish to have run there in 10.5...but 13.5 will be better than nothing!!
i m going if we have a 4cells 13.5 class....i hope to make it!!! i really like this track!!

Racin'Jason 8 02-12-2009, 09:55 PM Hi Pace,
A few of us think it's the way to go to save the hobby. We're trying to show 1s to people to get them to come back next year - times are getting pretty tough out there, so it's not just about going fast. I don't own anymore competition NiMH batteries, so I'm not interested in running any of those classes. However, if you could put a group of guys together for 13.5 4 cell, I would like to run 10.5 1s with you if you don't mind...but of course it's all up to Ken. Hope to see some of you guys back.
Jason
rcrc805 02-13-2009, 04:19 PM In order to not conflict with the race at Barre, this event has been rescheduled to one week later, Sunday, March 29. We hope more of you will be able to attend on this date.
Butters16 02-13-2009, 06:44 PM Is going to stay on a Sunday if you move the date?
maybe jason we can make a class 1cells 10.5 or mix these one with 13.5 4cells!! the fun for me running in oval is when you have to use your throttle and not only the steering wheel!!;)
i will talk with some guy where i race if they are interrested!
Pace
21.5 Lipo please, lets get some interest.

HammerRacing 02-20-2009, 05:41 PM the 29th would be better for me as well, looking at running 13.5 1cell and COT
rcrc805 02-20-2009, 07:31 PM This event has been officially rescheduled for Sunday March 29th.
We will be combining 1S LiPo 10.5 and 4 cell 13.5BL.
We will also run 21.5BL 2S LiPo if there is any interest - Turn 4 guys?
Pro-Stock SK's will run 17.5BL/4 cell(ROAR 27T motors also allowed)
4 cell pan car classes run at 41oz. 1S LiPo classes run at 36oz.
SK's - 4 cell - 37oz, 1S LiPo -32oz.
Mike_OBrien 03-02-2009, 12:58 AM so whats the biggest 1 cell class going to be ???
Racin'Jason 8 03-02-2009, 09:31 AM 1 Cell/13.5 is a safe bet, Mike. I will probably try the 1 Cell/10.5 also for fun and to compare for next year.
casper60 03-02-2009, 02:48 PM Looks like I will be making the trip now. Put me in for 13.5 1s and 21.5
Tommygun43 03-02-2009, 09:42 PM Heath, if you're watching - throw some free Iron Maximus entries our way for 13.5/1s.:thumbsup::)

X man 03-03-2009, 02:16 PM Any one at your track try this yet.
Dan
Tommygun43 03-03-2009, 03:30 PM I did. I think they are going to have that class (17.5/1cell) next year as their spec class.
X man 03-03-2009, 03:50 PM What did you think of it? waht kind of rollout did you use.Thinking of racing it at you race on the 29 th.
Dan
Tommygun43 03-03-2009, 04:37 PM It was alright. I just threw a big gear on. I just don't know how many will be there for that class on the 29th? It has never been raced there. I didn't even realize it was being offered until you brought it up lol.
I wish the guys would just run 1 cell spec for this race, which would be = SMC single cell battery/Novak 17.5/BSR Spec tires.
I would recommend "RCH (racing city hobbies) spec", but you might have to buy rch labeled nimh batteries at the hobby shop.
I am not really sure what to tell you, other than there 13.5/single cell should be a safe bet.
cwt1220 03-12-2009, 10:11 PM This race is about 2 weeks away. Who's coming and what are you running?
I will be running 1 cell 13.5, and possibly S/K pro stock.

Tommygun43 03-22-2009, 12:56 PM Any COT guys from Plattburgh coming to race? I was thinking of building a car. Need to find a couple batteries to borrow unless Lipos are allowed. Not sure how Lipos compare to the spec packs?

Outlaw 44 03-23-2009, 01:59 PM Looks like the single cell/13.5 is gonna be the biggest class once again.
This is sort of a longshot, but I'm eying this race. Checked out the site and the track looks awesome!
I might be able to put together a ride pending a quick sale of my Losi Mini Latemodel and a Yes from the wife.
Could someone post a good starting point for 13.5 for tires, rollout and such?
