Here we go again! I have another batch of o-rings to try out. They are 1/8" ID x 1/4" OD, fits losi or Assoc. style 1/10 shocks. If you run offroad or dirt oval send me your mailing info and I'll get some o-rings out for you to try.

These o-rings are of the base material viton, which is harder then the red silicone o-rings by 15-20A durometer and "shouldn't" swell as quickly. The hardeness makes them stickier feeling, so to eliminated that they were coated with teflon.

All I ask is that you keep me updated. Let me know how they assemble, if they leak or tear, If they get sticky feeling and loose rebound...etc...

Thanks,
Wayne

There is an oring that out performs all the rest.. It's very expensive though... like $26 each oring.

AS568A Dash Number 006
Width 1/16"
Inside Diameter 1/8"
Outside Diameter 1/4"
Material Kalrez® Perfluoroelastomer
Durometer Shore Shore A: 75
Lowest Temperature Range +1° to +32°F
Highest Temperature Range +501° to +600°F
Color Black

Ive tested these orings and they are far supperior to all other orings... But they do come at a price...

If you got some spare cash laying around you might want to try these out... You'll be impressed.

I have some of those :) , they didn't cost that much, but they were much more expesive!! I may have just about everything out there...lol... I was hoping to find a fairly inexpensive o-ring that out performes what's currently available. Thanks for the info!

If you're looking for another "cheaper" o-ring option you could consider "Flourosilicone" O-rings or Quad-Rings. (I prefer Quad rings since they provide 2 contact surfaces per ring. one to act as a wiper and keep out dust and the inner one to seal in shock oil. Plus this compound is more resistant to swelling and tearing that regular 50 duro. Red silicone.

I've tried 65-75Duro Viton but didn't like the sealing as well as the Flourosilicone orings. I used them without a hitch over the last few years.

The flourosilicone were the last ones I tested. There were alot of failures with them. That could have been just the manufacture... The quad ones felt too sticky to me. I was looking for the quad in something other then viton, but not much luck...

More o-rings went out! Everyone who PM'd me should have or soon have o-rings to try!
Please let me know:

How they went togather with the supplied o-ring lube
Do they feel stickier then your current o-rings
Do they leak
Did you loose rebound faster then you usually do
Did the teflon coating on the o-ring hold up

Thanks,
Wayne
