What I have called generic China and Hong Kong has been a mystery to me for a long time as to who actually made them, since they usually did not bear any company name or even numbers in most cases, but only the country of origin. So they were all grouped together when sorting out collections that were purchased at garage sales, flea markets etc, focusing mainly on the HW & Matchbox...
While many of the casting were well done they always had cheap/strange looking wheels. I remember buying some at the stores but always seemed like genericish blisters with all kinds of different designs. The ones that stood out the most were the Tomy Pocket cars quality wise. It seems for the most part back in the day if it wasn't a HW or Matchbox, they were basically ignored.
Thanks Guys:thumbsup::thumbsup:, hope you enjoy the pics.
