Are these really both 1/43 Norevs? Hard to believe!

1979 Alfa 6 (made in France):

A more pertinent question would be - are they both Alfas?

The 6 was not a good car, but, it used THAT V6 - the Mito, is a Fiat Punto in drag......as a driving tool the Ford Fiesta is better & the the Punto's use of the latest Maserati styling cues, looks better than the the Mito's shrunken 8C Competzione.

If you put it that way, there have not been any new Alfas since 1986. :freak:

I guess it's pertinent for you, since you might have seen an actual 1:1 scale new one. I don't get a chance over here in the US! So the closest I get is on my desk right now. And the ruler does not lie - both are exactly 1/43 - over 30 years and still making scale model cars.

Again, if you want to get technical, then Norev probably stopped making cars when they shipped production to some anonymous factory in China 20 years ago... :drunk:
