A little help from the Tyco collectors... How rare are the Tyco race cases. I have one that I picked up but had never seen one before. Here is a couple of pics.

Paul, I would say it is in pretty nice shape. As you can see in my blurry picture there is a little black where there should be silver and silver where it should be black. Not too bad though. The hinge is unbroken as is the tray. I guess it could use a good cleaning and that is all, though there are a few scratches that would be in any plastic that is 30 years old.

I am mainly into AF/X so I don't know much about these.

What do you have to trade or what is it worth? It is by no means in bad shape, but not mint either, you can see most of the condition in the pics...

I have a couple of them - I just store stuff in them. They are relabeled small fishing tackle boxes. Appropriate, since so many of us adapt them for race cases or storage cases.

They aren't nearly as popular as vintage Aurora cases. If you can get $5 for one, that's about right.

Thanks Gene. I knew it was an old tackle box relabeled, but I had never seen one before and thought some one could fill me in...
