Hi Josh,

I saw your post here and on our boards...

I put up a challenge to our racers this year using the new McAllister Velo body, trying to get some guys to try it and see if they can rip off some FAST times with it.

The Proto bodies are getting really hard to find (at least in the US ) I'm not sure what the guys in Japan are running...they always suprise me.

Every once in a while we'll see one pop up someplace unexpected...usually e-bay

The majority of our racers use the PSE HS Monte Carlo. Parma/PSE will still make them, but they require a fairly large order.

One of our racers bought 100 bodies a couple years ago, and sold them to everyone at a minimal profit, these had no overspray wrap, no mask.

His h/t name is rcdemon (Frank Valentino), I don't know if he plans to order more or not, but if there is enough interest w/ the INDY guys...you might contact Parma/PSE about making a run if you are wanting something other than the McAllister or the Windtunnel Taurus

The old PARMA/PSE HS MC was the BODY OF CHOICE at yestedays 'Season Kick Off' at the Encino Velodrome.

1997 NORRCA Paved Oval Nationals Champion (held at the Encino Velodrome)...JOE BLACKBURN took nearly a decade off from R/C racing, and since his return 3 years ago he's struggled to get back in winning form on his favorite track.

Blackburn, who now resides in Northern California drives the 700+ mile round trip for almost every VELODROME race possible and always has a fast car but this time it was his time to Shine.

The 21.5/LIPO record set during the '08 season (28/5:02.10) was the target and Arnold Brittain almost took it down in the first round of qualifying. Blackburn had a bad first lap in that round but his lap times showed he was on a mission to SHATTER that old record.

In the 2nd round Blackburn did just that running a 28/5:01.14, cutting a full second off the previous time. In the third round Joe cut that time even further running the classes FIRST 29 lap run with a time of 29/5:08.17.

Blackburn didn't get out first in the main, it was former record holder Buck VanPatten who grabbed the early lead, but the 48 car of the NEW record holder caught him and made it look easy. Blackburn gets his first velo win in many years, takes the HobbyTalk TQ award along with the NEW track record....and ran the ONLY 9 second laps recorded in the class.

This is going to make guys really go do their homework before the ALLSTAR SHOOTOUT (presented by NOVAK and ORION) in April.
