Does anyone have this set? There were 12 plastic cars in 1/43 scale called "Racing Legends", and included the #91 light blue Hudson Hornet, a Chrysler 300 driven by Tim Flock, a few Pontiacs, a few Galaxy 500's, and the #9 Bill Elliott car that had the car number put on backwards.

Here are some of the pics:

Yeah, I have the whole set. I was just wondering if anyone else here had it.

Those are the next group of cars that I am going to collect. Right now I'm trying to finish up the set of 1:43 Racing Champions "Limited Edition" 1 of 5000 1964 Fords that came in the clear pvc box.

I really like that Jim Vandiver Daytona. Has to be my favorite from that set. Thanks for the pics everyone

Pics of the other six from the set. Mine is a numbers-matching set, btw.

I have seen them around from time to time, most often at a pretty good price. Now thats singles, I have not seen a whole set for sale in years. I never found the quality to my liking, but I always thought the subject matter was super!

Nice photos by the way, I enjoied seeing them all in one place.

Yeah, I'm kinda disappointed in that everything on the cars are plastic (even the tires), and the windows are blacked out (an obvious attempt to save money on "needless detail").

But the fact that there are cars in this set that are simply not available in any other scale makes it a keeper.

I have the 71 Hylton Cyclone that I am in the process of sending to one of the members here. The cars are nice despite being plastic. I just wish they were 1/64 scale.

Ditto. I need to fill some holes in my set of 1/64 Winston Cup champion cars. The Hornet, Chrysler 300 and Ned Jarrett's car would be nice additions if I could get them in 1/64.

I have this set complete, I bought it recently as a complete set off e-bay for around $80. I love it because not only are some of these cars only found in this set but the bio's on the backs of the cards on each driver who made that particular car famous are great. I collect diecast for the cars sure but I am really into the history our history behind mainly nascar and particularly the older nascar diecast. I have read a lot of complaints about these cars being plastic and black windowed and what not but for me just looking at them and having them evokes a different time in our history when things were a bit different.
