Butt's usualy runs higher then most. the fast guys are only running a 3.6 at HW. I would imagine they will go from that for the speedway race. I will start at a 3.6 and check motor temp if it's too hot I will go down from there If it's not hot enough I will go up.

I ran a 3.98 at the warmup race (hobbyworld) came off at 142 deg

windom? just dont goto the hotel about 10 miles north up 95 near a wafflehouse /truck stop had a rude awaking :drunk: 4 years ago..

I use to run a 4.5 but my new motor didn't like it so I had to go down to like a 3.8 and came off the track at 160 Deg. so I think I am going to have to keep it low but we will see.

Great day at the track. Little rain last night which held practice to a short time to dry the track off. With over a 100+ entries. Great raceing and having a lot of fun.

You said it Kenny, now we can do it all over again next year!

Still raining, headed home. Had fun guys and thanks to MB Racing for their efforts towards a great weekend of racing. Also, anyone who heard me tell Katf1sh he was right, I was just feeding his ego, lol.See y'all next time!

Had a blast and met some really cool people. Mike Boylan(Nice guy to talk to)/Mike Bean the organizer(got me pass for the family to get in and I thank him for that) and many others. Passed out a ton of flyers for our club and hope to have more join. They had the pits in the nascar pits as well as 15 to 20 trailers around the track. Some like mike boylan had a nice camper! Video up later today

I am a little tired:freak: but man o man what fun this race is. Can't do anything about the weather but the track crew tried to get the track ready even after it was apparent that it just wan't to be. Hats off to all involved and the pictures are good, Pictures are always good. :thumbsup:

Even if I don't make another race this year I'll be back for the 2010 Speedway race.

A big THANK YOU to Mike Bean for putting on this race! There is nothing like racing at daytona speedway. Great job by the Scarecrow keeping the races moving along. Special thanks to the guys that tried to dry the track this morning. I would have loved to run the mains, but, it wasn't to be. Be back next year!
