Just joined, wanted to say "hey y'all".

I've been collecting since about 1997, and collect all scales from 1/144 up to 1/18, but try to stay in the 1/43 realm nowadays. I originally started out with NASCAR stuff, but I'm also a big 60's Le Mans and Trans Am fan - specifically Fords - and I'm building up a nice collection of cars of that genre.

I used to buy as many as five cars per week, but now I'm down to just half a dozen or so per year. I display all of my cars, and only keep the boxes for the really important models.

I'm certainly brand-agnostic, but I certainly prefer some manufacturers over others. When it gets right down to the nitty-gritty, if a lesser manufacturer is the only source for a given car, that's where I'll get it. I mean, it's not like there's going to be a choice, right?

As soon as I get one more post out of the way, I can provide a link to my diecast collection page.

[EDIT] Well, I guess I won't be providing a link, as it's against the rules here. Apparently, we're supposed to share our collections a picture at a time.

I'm just starting to get my feet wet in the world of 1:43 scale. Used to be 1:64 only for me, but I am a huge fan of old-school vintage Nascar vehicles & have come to realize that there are some really cool 1:43 scale cars out there. :thumbsup:

i have 4 very rare nascar diecast 1/43 scale if you want to buy them. these were made buy fletcher barnhardt and white car 18 = dale jarrette car 3 s tommy archer car 10 is mike groff and car 4 is bobby rahal, all are in mint condition. took them out of the plastic sleeve to get a better photo

I already have the #18, and the rest hold no interest for me.

I still collect 1/64 since about 93

I don't care what driver , car or brand because all I collect is promo cars ..
the harder to get the better , I like the effort , If I have to eat 2 cans of spam ..I'll do it.

any other strictly promo collecters here?
