I just had a transaction with a person from this forum who shipped my purchase via UPS to my PO Box that is listed on my ship to address on Paypal. UPS does not ship to PO Boxes. They did however try to obtain my street number information somehow but did not get the correct number. My package laid outside in the snow behind a unoccupied summer home with no street number 2.5 miles south of my home for three days. Lucky enough I had requested a tracking number. After not recieving the package in what I felt was ample time I tracked it down through UPS and their driver on the posted delivered day. So my point here is always get a tracking # and ask who ever you are shipping someones purchases with will they deliver to address listed.
This really s-cked getting a soaked wet box of items!

I had a similar experience with the USPS. They had delivered a box containing a new chassis to the wrong house. Apparently a kid who lived at the house opened it and decided it was an early christmas present to himself. The post office finally tracked it down and I got it back. Luckily everything was in the box and accounted for.
Needless to say, the USPS carrier now takes very good care of my packages.

i here you guy's
i sent out monday priority mail and confirmation # package to
the buyer via post office they said they got it 3 days later post office did.
the buyer said 5 days later he never got it
talked to him on the 6th day and still nothing
he told me that he talked to the post office and they said they sent him a slip to come pick up at the post office.
he said no slip and went to the post office to ask about it and they said someone with the slip picked it up.
i called the post office on the 7th day they said the box had to picked up with the slip. (the slip is a paper stating they can't deliver to the addy because to big so buyer has to come to post office with slip to pick up)
talked to the buyer on the 7th day and he said the post office told him they must have put the slip in wrong mail box.
so what to do now ?

The post master at my post office informed me if anything was missing or they could not retrieve the package, they would Pay for the missing items along with all other costs associated with the package. I would try to talk to the postmaster at the PO it was sent to, and if they do nothing, file a claim on the USPS website.
Carrier mistakes are generally on the receiving PO.

What ever you do dont use UPS they handle the packages like bricks they throw them kick em drop em & even put heavy stuff on top[ ive wittnessed this 1st hand at a company my wife works for i pointed it out to thier shipping manager they no longer use them & thier claims have dropped 80%. the Big Brown Machine flat out STINKS!!!!! ive personally recieved packages that looked like an elephant kicked it & sat on it luckily everything was ok in most cases but in 1 i had to file the INs. caim & they tried everything to get out of it. to this day i still never got paid nor have they returned the stuff. belive me theyre no good USPS is much easyier to work with. especially with claims. I have also had some good experince with Fed Ex. & DHL. you all might want to try them sometime too.

USPS are not much better as I learned today! I paid for a package to be shipped priority and it ended up going parcel post 7 -10 days. They said sorry for the mistake and refunded me a whopping 1.33 after I paid 11.53 to ship it. Go figure that one!:dude::confused:

I have had one problem with the USPS. I sold a old brushed motor on ebay and shipped it USPS. I put the motor in a old koyosho plastic motor case, the little round ones, and put that in a envlope. I though with the case it would be ok. The guy recieved it and the case was destroid. The end bell on the motor was torn off. Godd thing was the guy really didn't care, he sed he did not plan on using it and only wanted it for looks and it still looked good.
