As a dis-interested party regarding the winner... I don't know how much money the officials have on this game... but I do know where they placed the money.
We got a glimpse of the ugly side of officiating in the NBA recently... I wonder when the NFL bubble will burst?

Emotional roller coaster!! I think the officials were betting on the under... looks like they are no more partial for the winner than I am. But they do seem to want to control the score.

Holy pigskins!!! Steelers robbed the Cards of a great comeback victory. What a game!!! Proud to be born this day in New Kensington!

LOL... see... I told you so!!!
I love the Steelers... but that was again obviously officials controlling a score. As a former huge NBA and NFL fan, I will not contribute one nickel to either organization until they clean up the officiating. I won't buy the jerseys, memorabilia, tickets, etc.
Point shaving was a huge scandal in college basketball in the 50's. It's a shame there isn't the same attention in the 21st Century.

A sad state of affairs. Pretty well lost interest in the "stupor bowel" long ago.

Been watching the game of football since the days of black and white tiny screened TV. During that period of the stone age games were a little easier to "adjust" the outcome on. The technology of the times did not allow for the piercing looks into the depths of theatre at it's finest.

Todays technology allows for a clear focus on what's really happening...and it aint pretty. Officiating controls the game via momentum swings. Period! It's blatantly obvious that "spirit crushing" via penalty and the minucia of the rule book are used to manipulate outcomes. duh...:freak:

Honestly, the "tuck rule" is what did it for me...

Lambert was right, they should wear dresses...and they do. Paper dresses. Made of money and media share.

Amen, Brother Bill. Amen. The game was on here from start to end but I only turned to look at it during the commercials and Springstien's halftime show. Pro football is no longer a sport. It's a show. And not much better show than WWF at that.
