View Full Version : Super bowl? noddaz 02-01-2009, 10:01 PM Here is who I want to win... http://www.jeffzugale.com/lifeblog/uploaded_images/steeler_helmet-735334.jpg 1976Cordoba 02-01-2009, 10:09 PM Looks good for them so far. LeeRoy98 02-01-2009, 10:17 PM As a dis-interested party regarding the winner... I don't know how much money the officials have on this game... but I do know where they placed the money. We got a glimpse of the ugly side of officiating in the NBA recently... I wonder when the NFL bubble will burst? Gary AKA LeeRoy98 www.marioncountyraceway.com HadaSlot 02-01-2009, 10:51 PM Not Yet. 2:24 left noddaz 02-01-2009, 10:57 PM How the tide has turned... noddaz 02-01-2009, 11:01 PM And turned again! LeeRoy98 02-01-2009, 11:08 PM Emotional roller coaster!! I think the officials were betting on the under... looks like they are no more partial for the winner than I am. But they do seem to want to control the score. H.O. racer 02-01-2009, 11:13 PM Holy pigskins!!! Steelers robbed the Cards of a great comeback victory. What a game!!! Proud to be born this day in New Kensington! LeeRoy98 02-01-2009, 11:15 PM LOL... see... I told you so!!! I love the Steelers... but that was again obviously officials controlling a score. As a former huge NBA and NFL fan, I will not contribute one nickel to either organization until they clean up the officiating. I won't buy the jerseys, memorabilia, tickets, etc. Point shaving was a huge scandal in college basketball in the 50's. It's a shame there isn't the same attention in the 21st Century. Gary 1976Cordoba 02-01-2009, 11:15 PM Turnovers and penalties will kill you in big games -- Pittsburgh darn near blew it. They got it done in the end tho -- Congrats. resinmonger 02-01-2009, 11:18 PM Da BEARS! sethndaddy 02-01-2009, 11:27 PM WHAT???????? I was holding a slot car the whole time I watched the game. Just to keep this subject in the slot car arena.... LOL Gary WesJY 02-01-2009, 11:30 PM MAN WHAT A B.S. GAME!!! CARDINALS PLAYED WAYYYYYY BETTER THAN THOSE SH***Y STEELERS!!! SAME AS BACK IN 70's THEY WERE FULL OF STEROIDS!!!!!! THOSE REF DID A LOUSY JOB BIG TIME!!!! ARGGGHHHHHHHH GO COWBOYS!!! Tom videojimmy 02-05-2009, 11:27 AM NFC.. Nice Flippin' Channel.. Right VJ?? LOL hey don't be bashing my bread and butter... lol great company to work for, I consider myself EXTREMELY lucky Bill Hall 02-05-2009, 01:45 PM A sad state of affairs. Pretty well lost interest in the "stupor bowel" long ago. Been watching the game of football since the days of black and white tiny screened TV. During that period of the stone age games were a little easier to "adjust" the outcome on. The technology of the times did not allow for the piercing looks into the depths of theatre at it's finest. Todays technology allows for a clear focus on what's really happening...and it aint pretty. Officiating controls the game via momentum swings. Period! It's blatantly obvious that "spirit crushing" via penalty and the minucia of the rule book are used to manipulate outcomes. duh...:freak: Honestly, the "tuck rule" is what did it for me... Lambert was right, they should wear dresses...and they do. Paper dresses. Made of money and media share. Dranoel Dragon 02-05-2009, 05:51 PM Amen, Brother Bill. Amen. The game was on here from start to end but I only turned to look at it during the commercials and Springstien's halftime show. Pro football is no longer a sport. It's a show. And not much better show than WWF at that. NTxSlotCars 02-05-2009, 06:13 PM Aren't they all gonna wear flags next year?
