I'll be there for sure. We should wear signs for networking purposes. I'm still looking for tjet 'peeps' on eastern Long Island. See you all at the show.

I will be there. It is my first time to one of these events so I am pretty excited about it. I plan on buying some stuff. Im looking for a Grumpy Jenkins T-jet and a Geeto tiger also, and maybe a 45 ohm controller if there are any for sale.

Hey Gear Head, I'm in western Suffolk. Where are you? I'm not yet big into t-jets, but plan to. Going to the show tomorrow, perhaps we can meet up. I'll wear my white TCU Horned Frogs hat, and have my name tag with 'valongi' on it. Hope to see you there.

Be good... hope to see some peeps there!

valongi, i just noticed your post today. even so, i'm not quite sure that i would have found you. the place was packed, and as usual i had my typical dazed slot show drool on full duty. i pm'ed you my cell #.

i picked up a lot of great stuff. it was great to see bob, tom, rob, mike, bobby, mike v, and all you others that i see every time and forget your names. always a fun and positive experience, thanks to all.

Jason, just got your email, thanks.

Yeah, it's hard to pick people out in such a ruckus. As always, the Super Bowl show delivers as promised. My haul was some sili tires, AFX bodies and full cars courtesy Bud's table, and a wheel pulling tool.

My intention was to stock up on some T-Jet stuff, but I held back after speaking to a couple of gentlemen. I really want to study up around here before I start moving on the t-jets; from these conversations it sounds like I'll need to either rewire my track, pick up some Parmas and understand how to properly tweak the chassis to get the most out of these fickle vehicles.

Anyhow, looking forward to the April show. I think I'll have more of a shopping list by then. A couple hours tooling around in that room could lead to some coins flying out of my pocket ;)

Can you believe the crowd at the show.9:30 there were about 36 people on line. When it opened at 10 there were over 350 people in the room.My right hand man Kevin McEvoy looked like an octopus his hands were taking care of so many people.Every catagory of HO was there.Collectors, racers resin casters, painters. This show brings out people you see once a year.I saw friends I haven't seen in years. They always know when the show is.Great show. this is why I think it's well worth the extra 15 bucks to do the early admission at 8am. i more than make that up in deals on runner bodies out of bargain boxes...

by the way, tom, i got a couple of bugs at your table. wishing i had had the cash on me to get a couple Fairlanes too. do you have a website you sell on?

A good show, always fun to meet/greet/exchange info w/fellow slotters. :)
A  to the honest vendor who was offered a purchase of a very collectible Tyco piece at a fraction of value. He advised the seller to put car away pending further research. Also was told of an incident for the purchase of a MIB Batmobile. Apparently, a buyer was bumped & car taken from his hand by an intervening Greedy SOB after an agreement was made. Unfortunately, idiots like him show up in all facets of life. :(
Looking forward to Spring show-- 4/19/09 :D

This was my first time at Bob's Super Bowl Show. I brought a few hundred cars and boxes of parts and had a steady line up of buyers all day long. I was so busy that I didn't get a chance to visit many other vendor tables. I see the names mentioned in the forum of all of you that were there and it would have been nice to get around to meet everyone. But I am not complaining! It just means I have to have a better plan next time.
What stands out for me is the variety of buyers that attended. Recession? What recession? I think more cars were sold at this one show than at any other show I've attended. The buyers were looking for everything from $1 bargains to high-dollar collector cars. If a vendor didn't make money, I'd be very surprised.
Well done Bob.

I was between Guy Graziano and Dave Simms. Joe Corea was across the aisle and Mike Vitale was behind me (or should I say I was behind him).

Ditto. Last thing I need after a 90 minute drive is elbow to elbow hustle and bustle. Great show though. So much pretty plastic... so little time. nd
