I wonder what that seller's beef is with Italy??

I can ponder a guess from what I've seen in other listings. Shipping into and out of Italy apparently runs through a time warp, and shipments can be delayed (quite regularly) by 3 weeks to a month. The seller ships, the buyer claims he never got the item, and paypal sides with the buyer. Money gets refunded, and two weeks later the item shows up. Now the seller is out the item, and the money.

The Italy thing is hit or miss. I've sold and shipped to Italy many times with no problems then last Nov. got hit with 2 "items not received" (and another shipped to France). I know at least one of the Italy items was delivered--two months after being shipped!?! I blame it on their customs. Italy has restrictions on accepting toys/other items made from plastic. When shipping a slot car, it has to be labeled "antique toy" or it will be rejected.
