Was just wondering if you can use a 2s lipo with a 4 cell gtb.

The 4 cell GTB was designed for 4 cell NIMH racing. It does not include a lipo cut off; but more importantly, it does not have a HS and fan for cooling.

It probably works OK with high wind motors--17.5 and 21.5. Some posters here have commented previously on these applications. If you have questions, email cs@teamnovak.com

bill i ran a number of races with my 4 cell gtb and lipo with the 21.5 and never had an overheating problem. i wouldn't try it in a buggy, truck or touring car but the pan car was fine.

I've used mine with a 17.5, oval racing with a truck on dirt with no problems. ESC never got over 95 degrees.

tried it with zero issues! Running 8.5 in mod truck with 3200 li-pos. Added a fan for extra cooling, but still had zero issues running in mid august heat around 90* during the day.
