I have got a snow blower to fix and it starts and runs fine, however when you put it into the snow to work it , it decides to quit.
please help, where to start looking?:confused:

I just had the same issue. There are 3 things you can try.
1. Clean the carb. Make sure to spray through the idle screw on the side of the carb and the clean the main jet on the bottom really well with carb cleaner.
2. Check the compression. My last snowblower had compression of 62psi and it ran on half choke well, but not with the choke off. Turned out the exhaust valve was not seating properly. I lapped the valves and compression went to 110Psi, and that made all the difference.
3. Make sure nothing is binding on the auger or the impeller.
