It's been a while since my last visit & post here at HT.
I was surprised to see a lot of Japanese branded diecasts here at the European Diecast section.
If I remember it right, there were no topics related to Tomica & Kyosho models around 2 years ago (pls correct me if i'm wrong).

So I began to concentrate on collecting Tomica early last year since I can relate to most of their released models.
Most of them I grew up with & some may still be seen roving around the streets of Manila.

Anyway, it's fun to be back & to know that more HT members are into Japanese branded models. :thumbsup:

Great pics and nice collection! I too have focused on collecting Tomica for the past few years. I love the Celica 2800GT. The wheel detail is dead on!

Nice, as road racing collector, I have a couple of their JGTC cars, they are nicely done. I haven't seen much by way of the limited line with regards to racers. They could do a few of the Porsche 956s in limited trim and give latecomers like me a chance to grab a few.

Most of my Tomica's I've had for over twenty years and are playworn. My first two I got at the same time called Lamborghini Cheetah (LM001). I thought of increasing my collection but collecting Tomica has increased in popularity, so for me its very hard to win these. I'm quite happy with my small collection, especially with the Japanese cars collected.

I used to collect only the cars that I like, cars that I have seen & driven on the streets of Manila. But I eventually got them all except for some JGTC releases.
