Congrats to David Donohue and Buddy Rice on a great race. The 24hr. races really take a toll on cars and drivers. Had a chance to meet David and his son (who races go carts) at an event @ NJMP. Spoke w/ him for a few minutes about his career as well as his father's. What a great guy, friendly and soft spoken, seemed to enjoy interacting w/ race fans. Hope it's just the start of a winning season.
It was great falling asleep and waking up to the race on Speed TV. Will have to try it once in person!

Awesome race and great to see the racing season has started. I always think of the Rolex 24 as the time to start coming out of hybernation. Cool to wake up on Sunday, flip on Speed and listen to David Hobbs and Bob Varsha talking real racing again instead of the overdone NASCAR hooplah.
What a finish! 40 years since a Donahue did it and also great to see Brumos/Porsche back on the podium. Ya JPM did whine a little there during the post race interview but I was really happy he didn't pull any crap with Donahue at the end.

I watched a little of the race on Saturday night.:) Sunday came and I forgot all about it.:( I wished I would've set the DVR to record it. It's great racing to watch.

Better in person. Watching the sun rise from the roof of the tower was one of the best views i've ever seen. Not to mention it was friggin cold and I had been there all night... lol
