Can someone please, please help me, I have a 1/32 Scale Pierce Pumper to which the headlight in the picture circled has fallen off!! The company doesn't do repairs, but I was wondering if anyone knows of a way or glue to attach it back on?? It's a very tiny area that it sticks to. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The only suggestion I might have is superglue or a drop of an epoxy. Good luck.

Becuase it is a clear lens, superglue will make it hazy. Call you local hobby stores and ask if they have model glue for clear windows. The glue works great and dries crystal clear.

Your best bet is to get a vicegrip (hand drill) with a drill bit roughly 10-20mils wide, and perforate a hole yourself into both the opening on the truck as well as the piece itself.
Then get a piece of metal wire (brass or copper) that itself is slightly thinner than the drill bit and cut a 2-4mm segment. This segment then should be glued into place.
Your best bet would be to go to a train hobby store.

I would suggest 5 minute epoxy . Have not had much luck with super glues on models ...

I thought the lens fell off, hard to say with the pic. Sheldons idea seems pretty good for what needs to be done.

Normally, I have heard this referred to as a "pin vise" and not a "vice grip."

My suggestion is to use a simple drop of white glue or "Elmer's'" glue. Even though the glue is not as strong as super glue or epoxy, it dries CLEAR, cleans up with WATER and will not damage the surrounding work area. I have found white glue to be the saviour in situations like this when there is a real possibility of ruining the model with a blotched glue job. White glue, even though it creates a weaker bond than other glues, eliminates the possibility of ruining the model. Allow the white glue to dry out pretty much on the model before attaching the lens to the model. It is easier to put the glue on the model than to try and attach the lens with glue on it.
Hope this helps!
there is a product called futura its a acrlic floor wax. you need tweezers and tooth pick dip tooth pick in futura and let dry for about 2 min. now redip tooth pick in futura and put alil in the hole that the lens goes in. let dry 5 min. now redip tooth pick in futura and redo lens hole. now with tweezers put lens in and let dry 30 min. keep truck upright so lens won't fall out. after 30 mins cover lens in futura with tooth pick and let dry 1 hr
futura drys clear only way it will come off is if it gets wet. futura can be found in any grocery store. around 6 bucks.
