Picked this up from a small Australian company called Models56. The model is resin and is 1 of only a 500 run. The real car was a concept from General Motors Holden in 1970 but it never made production. The real car had a fiberglass body with an inline 6 cylinder with triple carbies.

It looks great:thumbsup: I suspect Holdenīs starting point may well have been the then new Opel GT

I saw this in one of the diecast mags recently, and thought "what a cool car". Now that I see it again, I am even more sure it's cool! Neat history and wonderful casting. Thanks for sharing!

A lot of Japanese influence there.

Looks great! It even kind of looks like the 1980 Corvette.

Great car that was in fact production ready, but was killed off when GMH couldn't get the price down below $5000, and there new LJ Torana XU-1 was filling essential the same market position with two more seats.

There is a great history story in the latest Australian Muscle Car magazine.

Cheers

A little Camaro-like in the back, don't you think? Maybe a little Corvette in the nose.
